imageWith Martin returning to take over as the Manager, George Sorenson will be the Ranchers bench and first base coach in 2016. Prior to 2015, Sorenson was a Rancher player and has shown an unparalleled commitment to The Ranch. He served admirably as the Manager in 2015 for a very young Homestead squad.

Sorenson was an H.B. Plant High School (Tampa, FL) graduate in 2010 and a four year letter winner in three three sports. While there, he played first base and pitched. Sorenson left Plant with a career 2.45 ERA and his team finished third in state in 2009. After, he pursued a football career at Brigham Young University as a quarterback before returning to baseball with Homestead.

For the last five years, he has coached in the Evanston travel organization.
